    Currently at the tail end of the level 3 of TTMIK essential course, and listening to those recordings and seeing Hyunwoo now is a trip. I don’t know if this was recorded recently or years prior but surely it can’t date all the way back to 2009 lol. It’s like I’m studying with a younger and older Hyunwoo at the same time.

    Crystal clear as usual! With thw advanced examples I just realize the size of a culture shock a Korean would experience learning Argentinian Spanish. We tell each other to shut up in a gazillion different ways!

    Thank you for focusing on grammar. It's something that intermediates have trouble revisiting sometimes but it should be the core of their skills so I think it's important and you do a great job at explaining as usual.

    Thank you for the important lessons! I wonder if for the last 2 purposes (to tell one to stop complaining, and mocking), we can also use '든지'? Cos Hyunwoo-ssaem did mention that for the first few examples, they can be used interchangeably.

    The example 공부를 더 열심히 하든가 attacked me since I've been complaining lately at the fact that I've been studying Korean for a year and a half but still have to watch kdramas with subtitles ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's my fault tho because I definitely could've studied harder.

      말하다 is anytime someone talks : )
      얘기하다 is when someone talks, or when people have a conversation.

      가는지 안 가는지 can work, too, but for a different reason :)
      When you say 가는지 안 가는지, you are omitting -에 대해서 or -가 like
      가는지 안 가는지에 대해서 '나는 관심없어'.

      It sounds like Oops. but change pronounciation 'P' to 'T' then it sounds "Oot". 웃=Oot

    I would be glad if you could clear my doubt. The sentence or word endings like:-
    하네요/ 하세요/ 해죠/ 해요/ 해.
    Or 있나요/ 있어요 / 있죠 etc
    Confuse me a bit! I get confused as to where to use which ending. It would be helpful if you could please explain the difference/ similarly and as to when to use the proper endings! If you have already covered this topic in a video could you please share its link? Extremely sorry for the inconvenience!

      -네요 is to express an emotion for example when you surprised about an information.
      -세요 is formal. You use it when you talk to older people or to high ranked people. It's also an imperative form hen you want to to order something.
      -죠 (informal)/지요( formal) is like 공부를 해죠? - You study, right?
      The question with right? or isn't? is 지요/죠.
      -해요 is just the polite form of 해. You just remove the 요 ending when you talk with really close friends or younger people than you. But not with 세요!
